The Ballet IIA/III class combines components from technique levels II and III. Detailed instruction for every ballet barre exercise will be provided, particularly in the initial phase of session I. Guidance will also be given during the barre and center floor combinations to ensure that each dancer fully comprehends, masters, or revisits the correct technique for each ballet step, turn, or jump. Pointe is included at this level.

Pre-pointe is the foundational class that you take prior to attending pointe. In this class, you will strengthen your feet and work on proper technique to avoid injury once on Pointe. In a pre-pointe class, dancers wear demi pointe shoes (de-shanked pointe shoes) to prepare for future work on pointe. Required training is a minimum of one to two years prior to enrolling in a pre-pointe class.

Pointe is designed for the more experienced dancer with at least 3-4 years of technical training. Instructors will determine when a student is ready to graduate from pre-pointe to pointe.
